Wycombe Wanderers vs Stevenage Borough - Kashket pushing for debut
Posted Friday, September 16, 2016 by PA
Deadline-day signing Scott Kashket is pushing for his Wycombe debut when they host Stevenage.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who joined on a short-term deal after being released by Leyton Orient, has been an unused substitute in both Wanderers games since signing.
Forward Paris Cowan-Hall and winger Myles Weston were close to returning at Portsmouth last weekend but missed out so will be hoping to be back this Saturday.
Joe Jacobson, Scott Brown, Luke O'Nien and Marcus Bean are longer-term absentees while Max Muller is unlikely to play again before 2017.
Stevenage defenders Ronnie Henry (calf) and Dean Wells (ankle) are both set to return from knocks.
Forward Ben Kennedy came through a midweek reserve game unscathed and could feature.
Fellow midfielder Steven Schumacher, who has been out since last November with a knee injury, also played an hour of that match but is unlikely to be involved at Wycombe.
Striker Jake Hyde (hamstring) is a doubt.
