Metz 2 - 0 Angers SCO: Renaud Cohade engineers Metz win

Renaud Cohade's set-pieces made the difference for Metz as they beat Angers 2-0 for a second win in three Ligue 1 games.
The summer signing from St Etienne set up the opening goal for Simon Falette just before half-time, the defender climbing highest to meet a free-kick from 40 yards out and send an unstoppable header past Mathieu Michel.
And Falette's central defensive partner Guido Milan scored in almost identical circumstances with a minute remaining after another fine Cohade delivery.
Metz, however, were indebted to goalkeeper Thomas Didillon, who saved well from Gilles Sunu in the first half and Karl Toko Ekambi, Cheikh N'Doye and Pablo Martinez in the second.
