TARGET: Omer Toprak
Arsene Wenger is currently dealing with something of a defensive crisis at the Emirates.
Per Mertesacker is expected to be out of action until December while Gabriel could be sidelined for up to eight weeks.
And a move for top target Shkodran Mustafi has seemingly stalled, leaving Wenger to look at alternative targets.
Simon Kjaer of Fenerbahce was recently revealed to be under consideration but the Frenchman has reportedly decided to push ahead with a move for Toprak.
TransferMarketWeb claim the Gunners are currently planning a bid for the 27-year-old Turkish international, who is tied to Leverkusen for a further two years.
They say an offer of around £14m could be enough to get a deal done.
