According to reports from O Jogo, Liverpool have inquired into the availability of Porto winger Yacine Brahimi ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Algerian international earned rave reviews at the 2014 World Cup as well as a lucrative move to Estadio do Dragao, having previously plied his trade with Rennes and Granada.
The 26-year-old has gone on to establish himself as one of the top talents in the Primeira Liga, notching up seven goals in 33 appearances for Porto this season.
He also impressed in the Champions League's group stages, averaging an incredible seven successful dribbles per match alongside 1.4 created chances and 2.4 attempts at goal.
When quizzed on Lazar Markovic's future at Anfield in March, amid the winger's loan spell at Fenerbahce, Jurgen Klopp admitted that the current Liverpool squad is worryingly short of natural wide players.
And it appears the Liverpool gaffer is targeting Brahimi as a potential solution, with O Jogo claiming the Merseysiders have launched an inquiry into the African attacker's availability.
Brahimi's contract is said to include a £47million release clause and alongside Liverpool, AC Milan and Wolfsburg are chasing the one-time PSG academy player.
