Marseille 1 - 1 Nantes: Marseille's barren home run continues with Nantes draw

Posted Sunday, April 24, 2016 by PA

Struggling Marseille have now gone 15 home games without a Ligue 1 win after drawing 1-1 with Nantes.

Nantes took the lead in fortunate circumstances after 31 minutes, Nicolas N'Koulou heading the ball into his own net from a Leo Dubois cross.

Marseille, who were led by caretaker manager Franck Passi, equalised in the 49th minute when Florian Thauvin beat two defenders before firing the ball into the corner of the net.

The home side were reduced to 10 men after 55 minutes as Alaixys Romao received a straight red for kicking out at Yacine Bammou but they held on for a point.
