Posted Sunday, April 24, 2016 by PA
Palermo scored a crucial away win over relegation rivals Frosinone, winning 2-0 thanks to a pair of second-half strikes.
Alberto Gilardino broke the deadlock in the 56th minute, with Aleksandar Trajkovski finally sealing the points with an injury-time strike.
Victory saw the Rosanero swap places with their hosts in the bottom three, Frosinone dropping to 19th, a point behind Palermo.
After a goalless first half they took the lead 11 minutes into the second period, Franco Vazquez starting the move and Andrea Rispoli providing the cross for Gilardino to convert.
Trajkovski settled any remaining nerves in the closing moments, dribbling past his marker and sending his shot past Nicola Leali.
