Plymouth Argyle vs Dagenham and Redbridge - McHugh and Reid set to be out for Plymouth

Promotion-chasing Plymouth are likely to be without Carl McHugh and Reuben Reid for the visit of bottom side Dagenham & Redbridge in Sky Bet League One on Saturday.

Defender McHugh and striker Reid both failed to finish the 3-1 win at Leyton Orient on Tuesday after suffering knocks and this weekend's game at Home Park is probably too soon for them to return.

Jordon Forster, who replaced McHugh at Orient having recovered from an injury of his own, is in contention to start.

Midfielder Josh Simpson remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury while forward Ryan Brunt is a long-term absentee.

Dagenham midfielder Matt Richards could be out sidelined for at least four months after it was feared he tore his Achilles in Tuesday's home defeat against AFC Wimbledon.

Richards left the field on a stretcher in the first half and is awaiting the results of a scan.

Forward Oliver Muldoon will travel to Plymouth but will undergo a late fitness test following his recovery from an abductor strain

Luke Guttridge (ankle) and Zavon Hines (knee) remain sidelined while goalkeeper Liam O'Brien will not play again this season.
