Southend United vs Fleetwood Town - No fresh concerns for Southend ahead of Fleetwood visit
Posted Friday, April 08, 2016 by PA
Southend manager Phil Brown has no fresh injury worries as his side welcome Fleetwood in Sky Bet League One on Saturday.
The Shrimpers, who are 10th in the league, lost 2-0 to struggling Blackpool last weekend and Brown is expected to make a couple of changes to bring in some fresh players.
David Mooney is still unavailable due to an ankle injury and the Blues boss says his injury problems "have not been resolved".
Michael Timlin (knee), Anthony Wordsworth and Noel Hunt (both ankle) are also sidelined.
Fleetwood boss Steven Pressley looks set to have the same group of players to choose from as he did for the last outing, Tuesday's 2-0 victory over Peterborough.
Forward Shola Ameobi remains sidelined due to the hamstring injury that has kept him out for three games so far.
Joe Davis (ankle), Bob Harris (toe) and Danny Andrew (knee) are also still unavailable.
The Cod Army are a point clear of the relegation zone in 19th place following Tuesday's victory, which took their unbeaten run to three matches.
