Dagenham and Redbridge vs Portsmouth - Liam O'Brien remains sidelined

Liam O'Brien is again out when Dagenham and Redbridge bid to boost their slim Football League survival hopes against Portsmouth.

The goalkeeper has a foot injury, so Mark Cousins is expected to continue in goal following the Daggers' 2-1 win over Morecambe on Tuesday night.

Dagenham are again expected to be without Luke Guttridge and Frankie Raymond (both ankle) and Zavon Hines (knee). Dominic Hyam has extended his loan from Reading until May but Joe Worrall has returned to Nottingham Forest.

Tuesday's win over Morecambe sees John Still's men 11 points adrift of safety with seven games to go.

Portsmouth have been assessing the fitness of Conor Wilkinson after he missed the 1-0 victory over Carlisle with a groin injury.

Defender Kieron Freeman could feature in the push for a third successive victory after being out since early March with a knee problem.

Goalkeeper Brian Murphy has yet to feature for the promotion hopefuls since overcoming a calf complaint.

Pompey boss Paul Cook said: "If we can keep going and winning, we'll force ourselves into something that maybe we'd been written off from (automatic promotion)."
