Falkirk vs Glasgow Rangers - Aaron Muirhead back for Falkirk

Posted Thursday, March 17, 2016 by PA

Falkirk welcome back Aaron Muirhead from suspension when they host leaders Rangers but Peter Grant (knee) and Connor McGrandles (broken leg) remain long-term absentees.

Bairns boss Peter Houston said: "We have ambitions to finish as high in the table as possible and we need to earn as many points as possible to meet those ambitions.

"We defeated Rangers earlier in the season and it would be terrific to secure another win and move ourselves further away from Hibs.

"We are in the business end of the season and feel that we dropped two points last weekend when we drew at Dumbarton so we want to bounce back."

Harry Forrester has been passed fit to resume action for Rangers.

The former Doncaster winger had to be replaced at half-time during last week's 3-1 Ladbrokes Championship win over Morton after coming down with a sickness bug.

Rob Kiernan returns from suspension but on-loan Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem is still 10 days away from returning to training after a knee injury.

Striker Martyn Waghorn and long-term absentee David Templeton are both still unavailable with knee injuries of their own.
