Bury will once again be without several players for Saturday's Sky Bet League One home clash with Shrewsbury.

The Shakers have Tom Pope (wrist), Jacob Mellis (ankle), George Miller and Nathan Cameron (both knee) all sidelined.

Joe Riley is expected to miss out again as well due to his back problem.

Kelvin Etuhu (hamstring) and Rob Lainton (groin) appear the closest among those on the injury list to making a return to action, but it remains to be seen whether they are involved on Saturday.

James Wesolowski has been given the all-clear to play for Shrewsbury after recovering from a serious knee injury.

The midfielder has been out since September after rupturing his cruciate knee ligament, although he will need reserve games before being available for the first team.

Boss Micky Mellon has also been boosted by the return of several key players for the trip to Bury.

Dominic Brown, Zak Whitbread, James Wallace, Jayson Leutwiler, Jermaine Grandison are all training and should be available for the trip.
