The non-stop stories claiming to have the inside track on Pep Guardiola's first moves at Manchester City have continued today, with Bild (via Sport1) reporting on a new Bayern Munich target for the Sky Blues.
Rather than being a player, however, Pep is aiming to lure Bayern's transfer guru to the Etihad Stadium.
While the likes of Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Matthias Sammer have the final say at the Allianz Arena, technical director Michael Reschke is known to be the man behind the scenes who discovers and targets the Bavarians signings.
58-year-old Reschke enjoys an excellent reputation in the game, and he is credited with having brought Arturo Vidal, Douglas Costa, Joshua Kimmich and Kingsley Coman to the club.
Reschke joined Bayern in 2014, and he's worked closely with Guardiola during that period.
The whole story underpins the widespread belief that there will be major changes at City this summer, as they look to win the Premier League title once again.
