Bastia 1 - 2 Lille OSC: Improving Lille push further clear of trouble with Bastia win
Posted Sunday, March 13, 2016 by PA
Lille climbed further clear of the bottom three thanks to a third Ligue 1 win in four as they beat Bastia 2-1 away from home.
Lille took the lead after 37 minutes when Sofiane Boufal benefitted from a poor defensive pass before beating Sebastian Squillaci to send a fine strike into the top corner.
And the visitors doubled their advantage as the hour mark approached when Ibrahim Amadou beat Jean-Louis Leca from close range after Adama Soumaoro had headed Boufal's free-kick into his path.
Gael Danic struck a consolation for Bastia deep into added time but it was too little too late as Lille left Corsica with maximum points.
