Dunfermline vs Albion Rovers FC - Dunfermline still missing Williamson and Fordyce

Dunfermline will miss Ryan Williamson and Callum Fordyce against visitors Albion Rovers due to the broken legs they suffered earlier in the season.

Lewis Martin is also absent following illness. However Rhys McCabe, David Hopkirk and Ryan Wallace could all start after impressing as substitutes in Saturday's 5-0 success over Stenhousemuir.

Despite their 10-point lead, manager Allan Johnston is keeping everyone's feet on the ground, as he explained: "We are in a great position but we face two tough games in a row with Albion Rovers and then Ayr United.

"Albion are a very organised side who defend really well so beating them is all I am focusing on."

Former Dunfermline midfielder Paul Willis is the only absentee for the Coatbridge men with player/ manager Darren Young still sore at his side being denied a win over Peterhead on Saturday.

Young's team were pegged back by an injury-time penalty, and the Cliftonhill manager said: "We missed chances to seal our win and then had a really soft penalty given against us. The only positive that I can take is the fact that we played well.

"If we play that well again then we have the chance of doing something against Dunfermline. They are a good side, however we have had two close games against them this season already."
