Newport County vs Barnet - Elito unavailable for Newport's clash with Barnet

Medy Elito will serve the second and final match of the suspension he picked up for getting sent off against Crawley when Newport take on Barnet.

Defender Darren Jones successfully came through 90 minutes in the win against Wycombe after sustaining a knee problem four days earlier.

Forward Alex Rodman's return to fitness after a groin problem - he played for 66 minutes against Wycombe - is a boost to boss Warren Feeney in a month in which Newport have eight matches.

With that in mind Feeney may choose to freshen up his side for the clash.

Barnet boss Martin Allen is set to shuffle his pack again.

Allen made five changes for Saturday's home clash with Hartlepool including a return for defender Elliott Johnson after a hip injury and a full debut for Oxford loanee James Roberts.

But after the Bees crashed to a 3-1 defeat, Allen will be pondering his options with Luke Gambin, Tom Champion, Matt Stevens and Alie Sesay among those pushing for recalls.

Shaun Batt remains sidelined by a hamstring injury.
