Oldham Athletic AFC vs Port Vale - Matt Palmer sticks with Latics ahead of Port Vale clash
Posted Tuesday, March 01, 2016 by PA
Matt Palmer remains in the Oldham squad for the Sky Bet League One visit of Port Vale after extending his loan.
The Burton winger's initial deal expired after Saturday's draw against Scunthorpe but he will now be staying at Boundary Park until the end of the season.
Striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway, who is on loan from Wycombe, will hope to return after an ankle injury.
Amadi-Holloway did not feature at Scunthorpe after being forced off late in the previous game at Peterborough.
Port Vale boss Rob Page looks set to stick with the same team after his changes paid off against Southend.
Page recalled Louis Dodds and Michael O'Connor to the team in place of Theo Robinson and Byron Moore, who was ill.
Ryan Inniss is in contention, however, after the on-loan Crystal Palace centre-half resumed training following a hamstring injury.
Goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has not been ruled out of contention after missing the last two games with a stomach muscle injury, but Chris Neal is likely to continue in goal.
