RUMOURS: Conte favourite for Chelsea job
Posted Friday, February 19, 2016 by Goal.com
With Atletico Madrid confident of retaining the services of Diego Simeone, the reigning Premier League champions have already held talks with the current Italy boss
Chelsea have already approached former Juventus coach Antonio Conte about taking over the helm at Stamford Bridge next season.
The Blues have been managerless since Jose Mourinho left the club in December, since which time Guus Hiddink has been in charge.
Di Marzio believes, however, that Conte, the current Italy boss, could be in line for a move to England after Euro 2016, as he has already held talks with officials from the London club.
Diego Simeone is another preferred candidate, who is being supported by former Atletico Madrid players Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa, yet the Spanish side are confident they will be able to fend off any approach.
