Yeovil picked up another precious point in their fight for Sky Bet League Two survival with a battling 1-1 draw at Luton on Tuesday night.

In a woeful first half, Hatters striker Craig Mackail-Smith tested Artur Krysiak from distance early on, while Harry Cornick fired at Luton goalkeeper Elliot Justham and Matt Dolan shot well wide.

After the break, Cameron McGeehan shot off target from distance and Alex Lawless tested Krysiak who saved easily low down.

Scott Cuthbert put a free header over the bar from Alan Sheehan's corner before Yeovil took the lead on 70 minutes.

Midfielder Liam Walsh saw his first shot blocked but picked up the rebound to confidently slot past Justham.

Hatters levelled on 83 minutes though when a corner was headed up into the air and Sheehan produced an absolutely stunning volley into the top corner.

In stoppage time, McGeehan hit the post after Yeovil's sub keeper Chris Weale spilt Benson's shot, while Jack Marriott flashed wide as the points were shared.
