AFC Wimbledon vs Yeovil Town - Connor Smith could make Dons debut against Yeovil

AFC Wimbledon could hand a debut to Connor Smith when they face Yeovil.

Boss Neal Ardley signed the midfielder last week following his release by Watford but resisted the temptation to throw him straight in against Notts County.

Ardley is unlikely to tinker too much with the side which ran out 2-0 winners at Meadow Lane.

But he could add George Francomb to the squad if the winger can shake off the dead leg which has kept him out of the last two matches.

Darren Ward remains a major doubt for Yeovil.

The skipper missed the FA Cup third-round replay defeat to Carlisle and the league win against Crawley due to a knee injury and is still struggling ahead of the trip to Kingsmeadow.

Fellow defender Alex Lacey will definitely be missing as he serves the second game of his three-match ban.

There are no other selection worries for Darren Way's men, though, as the Glovers chase back-to-back victories for the first time this season.
