Bradford AFC vs Barnsley - Lee Evans missing for Bradford's clash with Barnsley

Posted Monday, January 25, 2016 by PA

Bradford are without the suspended Lee Evans for Tuesday night's Yorkshire derby against Barnsley at Valley Parade.

Evans was sent off in his side's 1-1 draw at Port Vale on Saturday and will sit out the next three Bantams games.

Striker James Hanson is set to remain on the sidelines due to a thigh injury and Jamie Proctor will continue to deputise.

Steven Davies is pushing for a start after returning from injury while Josh Morris and Billy Clarke will also hope to figure.

Barnsley boss Lee Johnson is expected to name an unchanged team after his side eased their relegation worries with a 6-1 thrashing of Rochdale on Saturday.

It was the fourth successive league win for the Tykes and moved them five points clear of the drop zone after a performance labelled by Johnson as one of the best of the season.

George Williams is set to keep his place at left-back after an impressive performance against Rochdale.

Meanwhile Johnson has confirmed fellow full-back Aidy White is set to be out for up to four weeks.
