Carlisle vs York City - Brandon Comley could make Carlisle debut

Carlisle's new loan signing Brandon Comley will be included in the squad for the home game against York.

Midfielder Comley has joined from QPR for an initial month and could make his first appearance, but skipper Danny Grainger is an injury doubt.

Defender Grainger was withdrawn at half-time during Carlisle's midweek penalty shoot-out win in their FA Cup third-round replay at Yeovil after taking a knock early in the game.

Midfielder Luke Joyce starts a two-game ban after being sent off for the second time this season during extra-time at Huish Park for two yellow-card offences.

York boss Jackie McNamara could be tempted to make changes after last week's defeat to Newport plunged them back to the bottom of the table.

It was the Minstermen's second consecutive defeat and has led McNamara to continue to scour the loan market in search of immediate reinforcements.

Striker Michael Coulson is pushing for a start after returning to the bench for last week's Bootham Crescent defeat following a groin injury.

And on-loan Ntumba Massanka could also be favoured by McNamara after making a brief second half appearance against the Exiles.
