Rochdale vs Fleetwood Town - Keith Hill set to ring the changes as Rochdale host Fleetwood

Rochdale manager Keith Hill could consider changes for Fleetwood's visit following the home loss to Chesterfield last time out.

Full-back Michael Rose may lose his starting spot after being substituted just 30 minutes in to the 3-2 loss, with Tom Kennedy, his replacement on the day, under consideration.

Hill has plenty of options elsewhere now Jamie Allen (dead leg) and Joe Rafferty (stomach) are back in his squad as he looks to find some consistency in a team that have not strung together back-to-back wins since the start of the season.

Dale have confirmed they will host a pitch inspection at 11am at Spotland to determine if the contest will go ahead or not.

Striker Jamille Matt is in contention for inclusion in Fleetwood's squad after returning from his loan spell at Stevenage.

But one goal in eight appearances means he will not be displacing the front trio of Ash Hunter, Bobby Grant and Jamie Proctor who have started the last two matches.

Defender Nathan Pond and Amari'i Bell are rated as doubtful for the trip but Joe Davis is set to keep his place at the back after making his loan from Leicester permanent this week.

Midfielder David Ball's hamstring injury keeps him out against his former side.
