Bjorn Sigurdarson is in contention for Wolves' clash with Cardiff after a back injury.
The striker needed lengthy treatment in Saturday's 1-0 FA Cup defeat at West Ham but his injury was not as bad as first feared and he will be assessed ahead of the weekend.
Kortney Hause has returned to training after a hamstring injury but is not yet match fit and is expected to feature for the under-21 side before coming back to Kenny Jackett's first team.
Nouha Dicko is out for the season following the long-term knee injury he suffered in September.
Striker Tony Watt could be making his final Cardiff appearance with his Bluebirds loan deal expiring after the Molineux game
But manager Russell Slade says the club are working on a permanent transfer for the Charlton forward, who has scored twice in nine games since switching from The Valley at the end of November.
Slade says there are "two or three doubts" for the club's third game in six days, Cardiff having been knocked out of the FA Cup by League One Shrewsbury before losing 2-0 at Hull in the Sky Bet Championship.
Brazilian full-back Fabio is pushing for a recall while Sammy Ameobi is an option to start up front after playing for the final half hour at Hull.
