Pep Guardiola may look to lure Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas to Manchester City if he succeeds Manuel Pellegrini at the end of the season, according to reports from Metro.

The Spaniard has already announced that he will leave Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich when his contract expires later this year, and rumours suggest that he's being lined up by the Citizens.

Should Guardiola make the switch to Manchester he would surely expect vast financial backing in the transfer market, and reports claim that he's already lining up potential targets, with Navas a player he has in mind.

Although Joe Hart is a respectable No.1, the ex-Barcelona coach could look to land a new stopper to challenge the Englishman with Willy Caballero seemingly well behind his team-mate.

The Costa Rican's own future at Real is in some doubt, with the La Liga outfit thought to be lining up a fresh move for Manchester United's David de Gea.
