Ipswich vs Leeds United - Double boost for Ipswich ahead of Leeds clash

Ipswich will welcome back Daryl Murphy and Jonathan Douglas for the clash with Leeds.

Striker Murphy missed the 2-2 FA Cup draw with Portsmouth on Saturday with a minor calf injury while Douglas, a former Leeds player, has not featured since suffering a knee problem against Brighton on December 28.

Dean Gerken, Christophe Berra, Tommy Smith, Ryan Fraser, Kevin Bru, who had a slight hamstring complaint, and Freddie Sears were all rested by boss Mick McCarthy for the Pompey match and could return.

New signing Paul Digby, on loan from Barnsley, made his debut on Saturday but could drop to the bench as sixth-placed Ipswich aim to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

Leeds striker Chris Wood is rated 50-50 for a return to action and is head coach Steve Evans' only injury concern.

Wood, who has scored eight goals this season, has missed the last three games due to a hamstring strain but could yet be included in the squad.

Evans made four changes for Saturday's home FA Cup win against his former club Rotherham and must decide whether to retain recent loan signing Mustapha Carayol and defender Lewie Coyle, who both made their debuts.

Defender Sol Bamba, winger Stuart Dallas, plus midfielders Lewis Cook and Alex Mowatt are all hoping for recalls, while Evans has no new injury or suspension problems.
