Former Ilkeston FC attacking midfielder Che Adams has been linked with a £3m move to Manchester City.
The Sun reports the 19-year-old has caught the eye of the Premier League giants with a series of impressive performances for League One side Sheffield United.
Adams joined the Blades last season for an undisclosed fee after former manager Nigel Clough beat a host of clubs to his signature.
A move to City could earn Ilkeston a major windfall as the deal which took him to Bramall Lane included a sell on fee.
Adams broke into United's team last season with a strong debut against Southampton in the Capital One Cup before scoring twice against Tottenham in the semi-finals of the same competition.
He has scored seven goals this term in a team which is four points off the play-offs.
Adams was the first off an impressive production line for the Robins as a number of players have left Ilkeston for Football League clubs in the last year.
