Exeter City vs Luton Town - Exeter's selection problems easing for Luton clash

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale has more options at his disposal for Luton's Sky Bet League Two visit.

Tisdale was frustrated the Grecians' trip to Morecambe last weekend fell victim to a waterlogged pitch but the enforced break has allowed several of his players to recover from injuries as Exeter seek to extend an unbeaten six-game run.

Tom McCready and Manny Oyeleke have resumed full training and veteran midfielder Matt Oakley is in contention for his first start since undergoing knee surgery two months ago.

Danny Butterfield is also close to returning after a knee complaint but Christian Ribeiro (knee), Jamie McAllister (groin) and David Noble (hamstring) remain out until the festive fixtures.

Andy Awford will oversee Luton's first team following the departure of manager John Still.

The development manager was been placed in temporary charge when Still left the club on Thursday.

For last week's 4-3 home defeat by Northampton, in which Paul Benson scored their first two goals, Nathan Doyle, Luke Guttridge and Scott Cuthbert were unavailable owing to injury and they are again set to miss out.

"It will be tough times but we've got to go and get a result on Saturday," Awford said. "We're as we were, we have the same people who were available before."
