Dagenham and Redbridge vs Bristol Rovers - Dagenham without James Dunne for clash with Bristol Rovers

Dagenham are without James Dunne as they return to League Two duty by hosting Bristol Rovers.

Dunne serves a one-match suspension after being sent off during the Daggers' extra-time victory over non-league Whitehawk in their FA Cup second-round replay on Wednesday.

Manager Wayne Burnett will assess how his players recover from that gruelling game before deciding on his line-up, though loanee Ayo Obileye will expect to keep his place after being restored to the side at Whitehawk and scoring the winning goal.

Forward Zavon Hines (knee) and midfielder Matt Richards (Achilles) remain on the sidelines.

Rovers are unlikely to make few changes after back-to-back wins over Wycombe and York left them outside the play-off positions only on goal difference.

But Rovers boss Darrell Clarke has told veteran midfielder Lee Mansell that he will limit his game-time and the 33-year-old could be rested in east London.

Clarke ran the rule over first-team squad members Jermaine Easter, Jake Gosling, Ollie Clarke, Mark McChrystal and Cristian Montano in midweek, giving them all 55 minutes in the reserve-team friendly against Swindon.

Easter was on target in that 3-2 defeat but Clarke is set to keep faith with the partnership of 14-goal Matty Taylor and on-loan Rory Gaffney, who has yet to open his Rovers account in three games since switching from Cambridge.
