Doncaster Rovers vs Crewe Alexandra - Rovers monitoring Mattioni ahead of Crewe clash
Posted Friday, December 11, 2015 by PA
Doncaster are monitoring on-loan Everton defender Felipe Mattioni ahead of their home clash with Crewe after he missed last week's FA Cup win at Cambridge.
Craig Alcock is available to start at the heart of defence after extending his loan from Sheffield United this week.
Nathan Tyson was withdrawn at half-time of the cup clash to be replaced by Cameron Stewart and it remains to be seen if he regains a starting spot against the Alex.
Curtis Main (back) and Dany N'Guessan (hamstring) both remain sidelined.
Crewe will be without Lauri Dalla Valle after the Finnish striker was ruled out for up to three months by an ankle injury.
Dalla Valle sustained ligament damage in a development squad match at Leeds last week.
The Alex are hopeful of having Brad Inman (rested) and David Fox (back) available again on Saturday following spells on the sidelines, and there is a chance fellow midfielder Chris Atkinson (quad) could be back as well.
Harry Davis (knee), Dave Richards (foot) and George Ray (ankle) remain out.
