Peterborough United vs Shrewsbury Town - Double doubt for in-form Peterborough

Jermaine Anderson and Jon Taylor are doubts for in-form Peterborough ahead of their clash with Shrewsbury.

Graham Westley's side have won six successive matches in all competitions - a run which has taken Posh into the Sky Bet League One play-off places.

They could be without midfielders Anderson and Taylor for this weekend's match at the ABAX Stadium, with the former awaiting results on a scan.

Ex-Shrewsbury player Taylor is another doubt after coming off in the FA Cup win against Luton, with Marcus Maddison favourite to fill that void.

Ian Black and Larnell Cole are expected to be back for Shrewsbury's trip.

Midfielder Black was suspended for the 0-0 FA Cup draw at Grimsby on Monday, while Cole had a groin problem.

Zak Whitbread should also be available after shrugging off a hamstring problem and returning to training.

Should Cole fail to make it, Shaun Whalley is primed to deputise again after starting against the Mariners.
