Birmingham vs Blackburn Rovers - Davis expected to be fit for Birmingham

David Davis is expected to recover from a knock to face Blackburn.

The midfielder suffered an injury in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Wolves but the club believe he will be fit to face Rovers.

Blues have one or two other doubts and they will be assessed although assistant Mark Sale did not name them.

Birmingham are sixth in the Sky Bet Championship and are looking to avoid a third straight defeat.

Blackburn skipper Grant Hanley is fit to travel to St Andrew's despite needing 10 stitches in his cheek.

The defender suffered the injury in Thursday's 2-0 win at Leeds and was then forced off with a migraine but is available for boss Gary Bowyer.

"He's fine. He had 10 stitches just across the cheek and he suffered a migraine which you sometimes get when you suffer a blow to that area," Bowyer told the club's official site.

Rovers will be without the suspended Corry Evans after the midfielder picked up his fifth booking of the season at Elland Road but Bowyer could have Danny Guthrie and Fode Koita available.
