Caen 2 - 0 Ajaccio GFCO: Gazelec Ajaccio still searching for first win after Caen defeat

Caen continued their strong home form with a 2-0 victory against Gazelec Ajaccio, who remain without a win this season.

There were chances at both ends in an open start to the match but none were taken until the 28th minute when Ronny Rodelin headed the hosts in front.

Caen kept up the pressure thereafter and a second goal seemed likely, although they had to wait for it.

It came 10 minutes into the second half as Emmanuel Imorou applied a clinical finish to a cross at the far post to ensure the team from Normandy notched a third home win from four outings at Stade Michel d'Ornano.
