Bastia 3 - 0 Toulouse: First-half goals ease Bastia to victory

Bastia halted a four-game losing streak with a 3-0 victory against Toulouse.

All the goals came in the first half with Julian Palmeiri opening the scoring after eight minutes, heading home from close range.

Toulouse remain without a win since the opening day of the season and they fell further behind just after the half-hour mark when Mauro Goicoechea spilled a header from Sebastien Squillaci, who reacted quickest to tap in the rebound.

The centre-back got his second goal of the night two minutes before half-time after he was allowed a free header and he buried it confidently.
