Wolfsburg 2 - 0 Hertha BSC Berlin : Bas Dost bags a brace from the bench to boost Wolfsburg to victory over Berlin

Wolfsburg moved up to third in the Bundesliga on Saturday thanks to a 2-0 win over Hertha Berlin.
Substitute Bas Dost scored both goals for Dieter Hecking's men, who had struggled for 75 minutes to break down a Hertha side intent on making life difficult for them at the VW-Arena.
The Dutchman then came on to resolve matters and extend Wolfsburg's unbeaten start to the season with a result which keeps them four points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.
Nicklas Bendtner was preferred to Dost in Hecking's starting XI and he nearly pounced on a fumble by Thomas Kraft, but shot over with the goal gaping.
Another Kraft mistake was nearly exploited again by Bendtner, but he shot over once again after dispossessing the Berlin keeper.
At the other end, Genki Haraguchui's flashed shot on the volley was pushed over the crossbar by Diego Benaglio, who did not have much work to do on a quiet afternoon in and around his penalty area.
Early in the second half, Julian Draxler wanted a penalty when Rune Jarstein got in his way as he tried but failed to get away a shot on goal, but the referee waved away his appeals.
Max Kruse then set up Draxler for Wolfsburg's next chance, but his free header from seven yards out was turned over the crossbar instinctively by half-time substitute Jarstein.
Wolfsburg finally made the breakthrough when three Wolves beat the Hertha offside trap and Daniel Caligiuri squared for Dost to turn the ball into an unguarded goal from close range.
The Wolves subsequently made sure of the win with just a few minutes left when Draxler was fouled inside the penalty area by Fabian Lustenberger.
Dost drilled his penalty straight down the middle as Jarstein dived to his left.
