Man United REFUSE to sell star to Barcelona as La Liga giants track creative talent

Man United have no intention of selling Spaniard Ander Herrera amid speculation that both Barcelona and Valencia are interested in the Old Trafford star according to talkSPORT.

The former Athletic Bilbao impressed in his debut season in England, bagging eight goals in 22 starts in all competitions but has found his first-team spot under threat following the summer arrivals of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin.

Herrera has as a result started just one of Man United’s opening four Premier League fixtures, and was subbed on that occasion, but this report suggests the cultured midfielder is still very much part of Louis van Gaal’s plans.

Shockingly Ander Herrera is still awaiting his first senior Spanish national team cap but is nonetheless a hugely capable creative midfield presence and one can well see why La Liga sides would be interested in luring the Man United man back to Spain.
