Newport County vs York City preview - Newport begin life after Man Utd signing Regan Poole
Posted Friday, September 04, 2015 by PA
Bottom-side Newport must reshape their defence for the visit of York in Sky Bet League Two following the loss of Regan Poole.
Poole, 17, moved to Manchester United on deadline day but the Exiles at least retained another highly-regarded prospect in striker Aaron Collins.
The 18-year-old had been the subject of interest from Burnley but it failed to develop into a move.
Joe Day could return in goal for the winless Exiles after Rhys Taylor came in for the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against Swindon.
Full-back Marvin McCoy is available for York's trip to Wales having not been called up for international duty by Antigua and Barbuda.
But winger Anthony Straker, who has not featured for the Minstermen since the opening day of the season, is away with Grenada.
Striker Emile Sinclair is pushing for his first start after two substitute appearances since overcoming an early suffered in pre-season.
Forward Jake Hyde has been short of fitness and missed the last two games whiile midfielder Michael Coulson (groin) remains out.
