Frosinone 1 - 2 Torino : Torino battle back for win

Posted Monday, August 24, 2015 by PA

Torino came from behind to beat newly-promoted Frosinone 2-1 on Sunday at the Matusa stadium.

Frosinone looked to be heading for a dream start in their first-ever season in Serie A when midfielder Danilo Soddimo put them ahead in the seventh minute.

Sodimo got on the end of Luca Paganini's cross to fire past Torino goalkeeper Daniele Padelli from close range.

However, Toro hit back in the second half.

Veteran Italian forward Fabio Quagliarella pulled the visitors level in the 59th minute when he drilled a diagonal 15-yard shot past Frosinone stopper Nicola Leali.

Five minutes later, Daniele Baselli struck the winner with a right-footed shot from outside the area to beat Leali.
