Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking to bolster his squad with the signing of Schalke 04 midfielder Julian Draxler in the current transfer window.
The Gunners boss has made just one new addition to his squad following the 2014/15 Premier League campaign, with goalkeeper Petr Cech arriving from league rivals Chelsea.
However, with the duo of Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky facing a lengthy injury lay-off, Wneger could be tempted to loosen the purse strings once more before the close of the transfer period.
The Gunners won't have a clear run at the Germany international, though, as Juventus are said to be at the head of the queue for the telented player.
Draxler has been with Schalke his entire career, having progressed through the club's youth system to make his first-team debut in 2011.
He made just 11 starts in all competitions for the German outfit last term, as a hamstring injury kept him on the treatment table for a large chunk of the campaign.
