Louis van Gaal reveals price tag of David de Gea replacement

Manchester United have been given the green light to sign Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen, according to Sunday Times journalist Duncan Castles, who made the claim whilst writing a feature for One World Sports.
The Eredivisie outfit value the Holland international at €25 million and the Red Devils must meet that asking price if Louis van Gaal is serious about replacing David de Gea with the 26-year-old at Old Trafford.
De Gea's anticipated move to Real Madrid is yet to gather pace, but the Premier League giants are understood to already be planning for life after the Spanish stopper and Cillessen has been identified as the best value for money option.
However, with three years still to run on his current contract at the Amsterdam Arena the Dutch club hold all the cards when it comes to deciding the custodian's future, and so they could still make a U-turn on their decision to sell.
