Sunderland deny Schuster report

Sky Sports News HQ have spoken to the Premier League club and say there is no truth in the story that talks have already taken place in Spain.

Schuster, 55, who has also had spells in charge of Shakhtar Donetsk and Getafe, left his last managerial job with Malaga in 2014.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche remains the favourite to succeed Dick Advocaat although no official approach has been made.

Advocaat retired from management having kept the club in the Premier League after a two-month spell in charge at the Stadium of Light.
