Bordeaux vs Nantes preview - Bordeaux to bid stadium farewell

Bordeaux will need to keep their emotions in check on Saturday as they look to keep their European push alive while bidding farewell to the Stade Chaban-Delmas.
With two away trips to finish the season, Bordeaux will play their final match at the 85-year-old stadium against Nantes on Saturday evening before moving to new digs next campaign.
Coach Willy Sagnol knows it will be a special occasion, but his side must stay focused with Montpellier only three points behind in seventh place.
"The emotion, it will certainly be more for the fans," he said on Girondins TV. "I think it is an exciting end to the season because we really have something to play for and I'd rather be in this position than that of a team with nothing left."
Nantes would fall into that latter category as they sit in 11th place, but Sagnol warned they could be dangerous with the pressure off.
"Everything is complicated late in the season," he said. "Teams that do not have much to play for can be released and very dangerous."
While the club is ready to call in the removal vans, Marc Planus will be bidding his own farewell to the home fans as the club's longest-serving player is set to leave at the end of the season after 14 years.
The 33-year-old defender has been a bit-part player this season but Sagnol hopes he can be involved on Saturday.
"It's like the Chaban," Sagnol said of his looming departure. "Part of the story stops.
"These are exciting moments for Marc. We want to let him have the best possible day because he deserves it. He will be in the squad this weekend and the course of the match will determine whether Marc comes in to play."
Nantes will make the trip without the injured Alejandro Bedoya and Papy Mison Djilobodji, while Remi Gomis is suspended.
