Stranraer vs Stenhousemuir preview - Gallagher banned for Stranraer

Stranraer look for a first win of the season over Stenhousemuir without Grant Gallagher who is unavailable due to a ban.

Steven Bell is expected to replace Gallagher in the Blues' midfield as they look to recover pole position in the title race.

Manager Steven Aitken said: "We lost last weekend to Dunfermline but I'm sure I have the players that can bounce back from that. The league is still very much up for grabs and if we win our final three games then we have a great chance of winning it.

"Stenhousemuir have plenty to play for and the first goal is going to be vital."

Stenhousemuir welcome back former Stranraer player Anthony Marenghi from suspension, with Bryan Hodge and Colin McMenamin both available after injury.

Ochilview boss Brown Ferguson is looking to build on both the positives and negatives of last Saturday's last gasp 3-2 defeat from Morton.

He said: "It was a horrible way to lose a game that we were winning 2-0 with 13 minutes to go. However we have worked on what did well for the first 80 minutes and will look for more of the same at Stair Park.

"We have also spent a lot of time going over where we went wrong. Hopefully lessons have been learned."
