Richard Henyekane dies in fatal car crash

Richard Henyekane was pronounced dead Tuesday morning following a fatal car crash. Henyekane was with four other passengers but was the only one not to survive.
Henyekane was just 31 years of age and was a member of the South African national team from 2009 to 2013 where he made nine appearances for his country.
He was last playing his club football in South Africa for the the Free State Stars on a loan from the Mamelodi Sundowns. The Free State Stars made a statement about the news Henyekane's death.
"We wish to say to the Henyekane family that they must know that we are with them at all times, and trust that they will put all their sorrows in the hands of God the Almighty in this hard period."
Henyekane played as a striker and his best season came during the 2009-10 season in the PSL, playing with the Golden Arrows, where he had 35 goals in 119 appearances between 2004 and 2010 for the club.
