Polish goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowksi is expected to start for Ipswich in their clash with Bolton at Portman Road in the Sky Bet Championship.

Dean Gerken suffered concussion and was stretchered off in only the 10th minute of Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Middlesbrough, with Bialkowksi, who recently lost his place, taking over.

Kevin Bru was an unused substitute on his return from a knee injury at The Riverside and will come into contention for a start and Stephen Hunt (hamstring) could come back into the squad.

Striker David McGoldrick, who has missed eight games with a thigh problem, is still not ready to return while Luke Hyam (knee), Noel Hunt (knee) and Darren Ambrose (hamstring) remain sidelined.

Neil Danns will miss out for a Bolton side which may feature several changes.

The midfielder picked up his 10th yellow card of the season in the 2-0 victory over Millwall on Saturday and will be suspended for the games against Ipswich and Wigan.

Manchester United loanee Saidy Janko (back) could be back next weekend against Latics, while Dorian Dervite (knee) and Emile Heskey (hamstring) are fine to be in the squad which travels to Suffolk.

Manager Neil Lennon expects to shuffle his pack ahead of the derby game with Wigan, but Mark Davies (knee), Marc Tierney (broken leg), Kevin McNaughton (broken leg), Max Clayton (knee), Zach Clough (shoulder) and David Wheater (hamstring) are all still sidelined.
