Bristol City vs Gillingham preview - Cotterill monitoring knocks

Steve Cotterill will once again monitor his squad closely before naming his side to face Gillingham.

The Bristol City manager said the few knocks suffered in the win at Yeovil were unlikely to be serious enough to rule anybody out of the game.

That means they could name the same XI for the sixth game in succession having gone on a run that sees them 13 points clear at the top of the league.

Should Cotterill choose to freshen things up, Greg Cunningham could come in for Joe Bryan after playing a part in the Robins' excellent second-half performance on Saturday.

Oliver Muldoon could be handed a debut by Justin Edinburgh.

The 20-year-old's recent arrival from Charlton strengthens the Gills' midfield complement after Amine Linganzi left the club during the week.

Josh Pritchard limped off during last week's draw with Doncaster and was replaced by Aaron Morris, who himself is returning from a spell on the sidelines and is likely to start.

Edinburgh is unlikely to make too many changes to his side after they impressed in their last two outings, but one potential change could see Luke Norris given a chance in the starting line-up.
