Van Gaal handed FA warning Louis van Gaal has been warned over his future conduct following comments he made about referee Chris Foy.
The Manchester United manager was found to have breached rulesafter the FA Cup fourth round game against Cambridge United with his remarks that the FA say allege and/or imply bias on the part of the match referee and/or bring the game into disrepute.
Van Gaal requested a personal hearing after being charged following the 0-0 draw at the Abbey Stadium on January 23.
The Dutchman said after the game: Every aspect of the match is against us the pitch, the referee, everything that you can think about is against you.
"You have seen the referee. It's always the same."
"Everywhere I have coachedthese games - and I have coached them also with other clubs - it's always the same."
However, he denied the allegation that he was accusing the official of bias, saying had never been punished for criticising a referee in his long and successful managerial career.
After being charged, the former Holland boss said: "I am very disappointed."
"For nearly 30 years I have been a trainer, coach or manager and I have never been charged."
"Up to now I don't think I said something wrong."
"I said in our pressconference the same phrases, because I know in advance that everything is in favour of the underdog. It is always like that."
United beat Cambridge 3-0 in the replay to set up a sixth-round tie at Preston on Monday, a match they won 3-1 to book a quarter-final date with Arsenal.
