Watford will hand late fitness checks to Almen Abdi and Fernando Forestieri ahead of the visit of Blackburn.
Midfielder Abdi and striker Forestieri missed the majority of January due to hamstring injuries but have this week returned to training and could be in contention.
Juan Carlos Paredes is fit after missing out at Bournemouth last Friday through illness, while Gabriele Angella is also available after his red card in the first minute of that 2-0 defeat was overturned.
Sean Murray (knee) and Joel Ekstrand (back) are still sidelined although the latter is back in light training.
Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer will be able to call upon Rudy Gestede for the trip down south.
Rovers' top scorer missed last weekend's 2-1 win against Fulham with a leg injury while midfielder Josh King may also be available.
Jay Spearing is set to earn his second start after completing a loan move from Bolton but David Dunn is definitely out.
Blackburn are aiming to record back-to-back victories for the first time since November.
