Tranmere Rovers vs Accrington Stanley preview - Molyneux set for Rovers debut
Posted Friday, January 16, 2015 by PA
Lee Molyneux is set to make his Tranmere debut against his former club.
The midfielder spent three spells at Accrington and was on loan with Stanley until earlier this month before moving to Prenton Park from Crewe this week.
Winger Rob Taylor is also in like to make his Rovers bow after he joined from Mansfield on Tuesday.
However, defender Marcus Holness is set for an extended spell on the sidelines after damaging knee ligaments.
Matt Macey stands to be the seventh Accrington goalkeeper used this season.
The Arsenal loanee, 20, was signed last week and is expected to start between the sticks instead of West Brom's Jack Rose, who is back from a hip injury.
Seamus Conneely is another Stanley player in line to make his debut after the versatile Irishman received international clearance.
Boss John Coleman has reported a clean bill of health, with full-back Adam Buxton (thigh) now just lacking match fitness.
