"Messi is better than anyone, I hope he wins the Ballon d'Or"

FC Barcelona player Pedro, speaking this Friday from his home island, Tenerife, said he hoped that Leo Messi would win the Ballon d'Or because, in his opinion, the player was better than Cristinao Ronaldo.

The Barça forward, who was taking part in a fundraising event at the Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez stadium, said that, although Ronaldo had achieved some "good stats", Leo Messi was "better than anyone".

Regarding Barca's season so far, he said, "We are alive and kicking in all the competitions. Let's see if we can keep it that way for the next six months."
