Neymar backs foundation to help underprivileged kids

Neymar has just opened the Neymar Jr. Institute, an organisation that hopes to help underprivileged kids. The foundation has been built in Praia Grande, on the outskirts of Sao Paulo, where the forward spent the greater part of his childhood. The aim of the organisation is to offer free football, volleyball, swimming, judo, basketball, reading, language, music and IT classes to around 2,300 kids aged between 7 and 14. The Institute is the result of a $9 million investment put up by the Barcelona player, whose club has also supported the project through its own foundation.
